Born Pretty Store: Glequins

So recently Born Pretty Store sent me some glequins for review! It's actually my first time receiving them so I really didn't know what to expect :O Glequins are basically loose sequin like glitters that are used for nail art. I may post a tutorial for those who are interested, just leave a comment below & I'll get right to it!

This was my first attempt so it's a little messy :( It's incredibly fun to do though, and so shiny <3 I decided to do glequin nail gaps & an accent nail because hey glequins.

The base color is from Essence's Grumpy from the Snow White collection, it's a gorgeous royal blue jelly that applies smoothly. >_< It's currently my favorite blue!

Anyway Born Pretty Store was sweet enough to include a discount coupon, which can be found in my sidebar or below for 10% off. They have free international shipping & their items are incredibly cheap :D I spend my hours in school perusing their selection of items & wishing I could have more.

Products were provided for review. Please see disclosure policy for more information.

Haul: From Korea!

I haven't done a haul post in ages! My mum just recently got back from Korea & she brought tons of goodies with her! She really did some heavy duty shopping at The Face Shop, so much so that they gave her a piece of luggage just to fill their products in! I didn't only get Face Shop products, my mum threw in tons of interesting things too!

I'm definitely most interested in the Paraffin Nutrition Nail Pack! I may do a review on it if you're interested :)  The pink packet to the right is supposed to help me dry my nails!

Non- nail stuff included pore strips that are made from the mud found in Rotorua, two pairs of earrings, some sample packets from The Face Shop & lastly,  The Face Shop lip gloss (It has a name but sadly, it's in Korean...)

First ever non-nail polish swatch on the blog! :O

On my skin The Faceshop's You Make Me Glam is a peach toned pink with a smattering of glitter. When applied on my lips, there's no coverage & it's too thin. The color doesn't show either. Ugh what a waste :(

Chinese New Year Nails!

Happy Chinese New Year everyone! I didn't do a typical Asian design but I used the usual colors. Half moons & a glitter accent nail seemed nice & blingy but not too much :)

I first started out with a base color of China Glaze's Passion, a champagne colored foil. For the half moons, China Glaze With Love seemed like the perfect prosperous red. The accent nail is topped with Orly's Sashay My Way, which is gold holographic hexagonal glitters with a sprinkling of bar glitter.

新年快乐!
