HARE Polish: The Illuminated Life Swatches

Hi guys, today I have swatches of HARE Polishes The Illuminated Life. Inspired by deep sea marine life, these four polishes are incredibly beautiful & glow from within ;) I was stalking her Etsy shop for a restock when I spotted this collection. I think I squealed & jumped around when I managed to hook (No pun intended... Maybe) this collection. They're my first polishes from HARE ever!

I thought that this collection would be very boring with all the same glowing blue glitters but I was SO wrong. Scroll down to see all the polishes in their full beauty!

All swatches are at 3 coats plus top coat.

Named after the beautiful Electric Flame Scallop, Electric Flame is a neon jelly orange with a nearly fluorescent blue shimmer. Incredibly gorgeous with a unique color combination, I really want to love this polish so much <3

As much as the beauty of this polish enthralls me, the formula falls flat on my expectations. For some reason, upon removing the brush from the bottle, it would come out in clumps that was difficult to apply to say the least. :( Also, when applying the second layer, please take note to apply it quick & thickly if not it would be streaky. I would compare the consistency of this bottle to slime >.< As this was the first bottle I tried, it was very disappointing :c

Ignoring the formula was easy though, as the combination made me fall to my knees & worship the polish Gods.

Bury The Hatchetfish is a delightful play on words & a gorgeous work appropriate color! A taupe jelly jammed with fluorescent blue glitters & smaller forest green microglitter, this polish is another unique creation that I would wear for days. I think it's completely lovely how the colors complement each other. Like the deep sea hatchetfish, it gives of the glow of 'bio luminescence', an almost out of the world beauty that most alien creatures of the deep give off. 

The formula of Bury The Hatchetfish was definitely a lot better than Electric Flame, it was still thick but at least it's manageable, the second layer of the polish seems to apply a little weirdly, they get all streaky if applied thinly. I'm sensing a trend here, the rest of the polishes would be applied thickly.

Atolla, a reddish-pink jelly also packed with the same bio luminescent magic glitter, is my favorite in the entire collection. There's something just so pretty about it, & even though I'm neither a pink or a red person, this looks so pretty on my fingertips & I can't stop staring at it. 

The formula was also the best among the four, it was easy to apply & thin. It's a little sheerer than the rest, I can see a little VNL but if layered over something, it would look absolutely stunning. 

Although the polish isn't exactly what I imagined an Atolla jellyfish to be, it still is an amazing polish.

Medusa Luminosa is a gorgeous violet purple that is filled with little bits of magic. Gold flecks, purple microglitter, blue glitter, what does it not have?! Incredibly beautiful & also unlike any other polish, this is one of my favorites too! It dries a little differently from the other polishes, it seems a little more matte as compared to the rest & an additional coat of SV was needed!

The formula was also thick but borderling on unmanageable. It had the thick clumpy consistency of Electric Flame but it wasn't as bad as that. It drove me a little crazy trying to get the pretty purple onto my nails but I think my effort was well worth it.
